From the Indonesian spice archipelago to every corner of the world, we hope this chocolate bar brings a little taste of paradise to you today. It is made from real Ransiki Cacao, grown in a cooperative farm in the buffer zone area of West Papua's Arfak Mountains, home to the newly discovered Vogelkop Superb Bird of Paradise
To us, this is about more than just chocolate. It represents a way to protect endangered species, conserve precious rainforests and provide livelihoods for local people. Not bad for a humble cacao bean, right? Its story is one of new discoveries and bright hopes for the future. And the next chapter of that story begins with you.
West Papua is known as The Conservation Province. To protect its precious ecosystem, a
green growth plan and investment blueprint have been developed together with local
governments to provide a roadmap for responsible businesses in the region.
Multi-stakeholder collaborations are already bringing sustainable investment into the area.
AND THAT'S WHERE YOU COME IN
Ransiki provides a livelihood for local farmers that is delinked from
from deforestation - buying from them helps to ensure the forest
these households depend on is protected for
future generations
WITH YOUR SUPPORT,
WE CAN WRITE THE STORY
OF CONSERVATION AND
LIVELIHOOD THROUGH CACAO
IN THE PAPUA REGION.
